Flying in For Your SurgeryIf you live out of town, you may have a virtual consultation with The Dermatology Institute DuPage Medical Group, To schedule a virtual consultation, please fill out and return to us (by email, fax, or US mail) the new patient paperwork and email us a front view and side view photo. These photos are best taken with a zoom camera, with your photographer standing about 10 feet away, the camera flash on, and the camera zoomed in so your entire neck from the collarbones up and face fill the frame. For eyelid or skin questions, please also include one front view photo of the eyes/face area taken in a well-lit room (daylight, preferrably), with no flash and no zoom.
The Dermatology Institute DuPage Medical Group will review your medical history and discuss with you the best options to address your concerns. At the end of your consultation, you will be given a surgical quote that includes all surgeon's fees as well as anesthesia and facility fees. Should you choose to proceed, you will need to have some routine tests run at home and fax us the results. You would arrive in Chicago the day before your surgery, discuss details again in person, and have the surgery the next morning. You would need to stay in town 1 week after surgery, and may take advantage of our out-of-town patient rates at two of our local hotels.
